Tom Shaffer

Today I work at MachiningCloud as a Product Engineer, where I create software to solve problems with partner data. The bulk of my work surrounded building tools to correct partner data, streamline internal workflows, or automating laborious CAD tasks.

I graduated from University of Nebraska -- Lincoln with a degree in mechanical engineering. Throughout my studies, even to today, I have had an obsession with learning new things, and am very good at picking up new skills fast and wearing whatever hats are necessary for the success of the business.

I have many hobbies outside of business and learning. I love reading, recently I have started reading Game of Thrones by the renown George R.R. Martin. I also am an avid dancer, I often go to either a swing dancing club in Omaha, or do tango with the local tango community in Lincoln.
